Disney Lorcana has moved fast. Since Ravensburger launched it in 2023, sets have arrived on a roughly quarterly cadence, and keeping them straight — which came first, what number a set is, when it dropped — gets harder with every release. If you're trying to complete a run, fill a binder, or just figure out where a card sits in the timeline, you need the list in order.

So here it is: every Disney Lorcana main set in release order, with set numbers and dates, through 2026. Lorcana's sets are called "Chapters," they're numbered, and they release on a steady schedule, which makes the chronology clean once it's laid out.

Every Lorcana set in order

The dates below are the in-store / local game store street dates, which are the ones most commonly cited. Wide retail release for each set typically followed about two weeks later.

| Set # | Name | Release date | Status | |---|---|---|---| | 1 | The First Chapter | Aug 18, 2023 | Released — launch set, mostly secondary market now | | 2 | Rise of the Floodborn | Nov 17, 2023 | Released | | 3 | Into the Inklands | Feb 23, 2024 | Released | | 4 | Ursula's Return | May 17, 2024 | Released | | 5 | Shimmering Skies | Aug 9, 2024 | Released — rotates out at Set 13 | | 6 | Azurite Sea | Nov 15, 2024 | Released — rotates out at Set 13 | | 7 | Archazia's Island | Mar 7, 2025 | Released — rotates out at Set 13 | | 8 | Reign of Jafar | May 30, 2025 | Released — rotates out at Set 13 | | 9 | Fabled | Aug 29, 2025 | Released — heavy on reprints of older cards | | 10 | Whispers in the Well | Nov 7, 2025 | Released | | 11 | Winterspell | Feb 13, 2026 | Released | | 12 | Wilds Unknown | May 8, 2026 | Released — current set, first Pixar characters | | 13 | Attack of the Vine! | Jul 24, 2026 (prerelease Jul 17) | Upcoming | | 14 | Hyperia City | Expected Q4 2026 | Announced — Pixar's Coco |

That's the whole run: twelve sets out, Set 13 landing in July, and Set 14 announced for later in the year.

A few notes on the timeline

The First Chapter (Set 1) sold out repeatedly at launch and is mostly found on the secondary market now rather than on store shelves. It carries a launch premium for that reason, and it's home to many of the earliest sought-after cards.

Fabled (Set 9) is the odd one out. A large share of its cards are reprints of older cards rather than brand-new designs, which Ravensburger introduced partly to keep desirable cards in circulation as early sets got scarce. Worth knowing if you're tracking which printing of a card you actually have.

Wilds Unknown (Set 12) marked Lorcana's first crossover into Pixar properties, bringing in characters from Toy Story, Brave, and The Incredibles alongside the usual Disney lineup.

What's still in print, and what's rotating

"In print" and "tournament legal" aren't the same thing, and both matter depending on why you're collecting.

For availability, the newer sets are the ones you'll find at retail — the recent releases are widely stocked, while the earliest sets (especially The First Chapter) have largely moved to the secondary market. Ravensburger doesn't publish a precise per-set print status, so the practical rule is: recent sets are on shelves, early sets you buy from other collectors.

For play, Lorcana rotates. The competitive Core Constructed pool covers a rolling window of recent sets, and the next rotation arrives with Set 13 (Attack of the Vine!) in July 2026, which retires Sets 5 through 8 from Core Constructed. Cards from rotated sets are still perfectly collectible and still legal in casual formats — rotation only affects sanctioned Core Constructed play. If a card from a rotating set was reprinted in a newer set, that reprinted copy stays legal.

What's coming in 2026

Two sets close out the year:

  • Set 13 — Attack of the Vine! releases July 24, 2026, with a prerelease the week before on July 17. It kicks off the next rotation.
  • Set 14 — Hyperia City is announced for later in 2026 (expected in the fourth quarter, with the exact date still to be confirmed) and brings in Pixar's Coco.

Ravensburger keeps the quarterly rhythm going, so the safest place to confirm the latest dates as they firm up is the official Disney Lorcana site. A printed list ages; the official calendar doesn't.

Tracking which sets you've completed

The practical headache with a dozen-plus sets is knowing where you actually stand — which sets you've completed, which cards are missing, and what the whole thing is worth as it grows. Counting that by hand across twelve binders is exactly the kind of job people start and abandon.

Scryda reads Lorcana cards including the set and treatment, files each one in the right set, and shows you completion and value per set at a glance, with prices updating daily. So you can see you're four cards short of finishing Azurite Sea, or watch what a set's value does over time, without keeping a separate tally. If you're new to how Lorcana's sets and rarities fit together, the Disney Lorcana explained guide is the map; for value, the Lorcana cards worth collecting and how to check Lorcana prices guides cover what's worth chasing and how to price it.
