The One Piece Card Game has moved fast since Bandai launched it in late 2022, and the set list has gotten genuinely confusing — main boosters, Extra Boosters, Premium Boosters, and dozens of starter decks, some with codes that don't line up cleanly with their names. Main booster sets (OP), in order

These are the numbered OP-## sets — the core of the game and the ones most people mean by "sets."

As of July, everything through OP-16 is out, and OP-17, The World's Strongest Warriors, is the next main set on the calendar.

The OP-14 and OP-15 naming trap

Here's the thing that trips up almost every third-party set list. The English OP-14 and OP-15 are officially coded OP14-EB04 and OP15-EB04, because Bandai folded Japan's standalone Extra Booster "EB-04: Egghead Crisis" into the English OP-14 and OP-15 releases. That means there is no standalone English EB-04 — its content came out inside those two sets.

It also means any list showing OP-15 as "500 Years in the Future Part 2" or similar is wrong. OP-15's real name is Adventure on Kami's Island (the Skypiea-arc set). If you're buying singles, go by the set code on the card, not by a name a reseller typed in.

Extra Boosters (EB) and Premium Boosters (PRB)

Alongside the main line, Bandai runs two smaller booster lines.

Extra Boosters (EB) are compact themed sets:

Starter decks (ST)

The starter-deck line runs from ST-01 through ST-36 as of mid-2026 — far too many to list every date cleanly, and some of the middle-run dates are inconsistently reported. The line kicked off with the four launch decks on December 2, 2022 (ST-01 Straw Hat Crew, ST-02 Worst Generation, ST-03 The Seven Warlords of the Sea, ST-04 Animal Kingdom Pirates) and has released steadily since, with newer entries like the ST-35 and ST-36 decks arriving in mid-2026. Starter decks are the cheapest way into a specific Leader, and they occasionally include cards that stay relevant in competitive decks well beyond the starter itself.

The 2026 shift to near-simultaneous releases

One change worth flagging: for the first few years, English One Piece sets lagged the Japanese release by two to three months. Starting in 2026, Bandai moved to near-simultaneous worldwide releases, and you can see it in the shrinking gap — OP-16 came to English about two weeks after Japan, and OP-17 only about a week after. "Simultaneous" in practice means within a week or two, not the same day, but the long wait English players got used to is largely gone.
